British airlines increase their offer of seats to Spain
17 January, 2024The total number of seats scheduled by British airlines for the month of January 2024 for their flights to Spain amounts to over 1.3 million, 5.9% over the seats offered on flights registered for the same month of 2023, according to the monthly report on air capacity forecast for the country from a selection of outbound tourist markets, prepared by Turespaña.
So the UK remains in first position, accounting for 18.7% of the total supply of seats on international flights to Spain planned for the first month of the year. In total, 7.4 million seats will be operated in January, with a year-on-year variation rate of 13 percent.
This monthly report includes the air capacity scheduled to Spain by airlines for January, based on the records of the Spanish Association for the Coordination and Facilitation of Slots (AECFA), from a selection of 20 outbound tourist markets that account for 83.6 per cent of the total planned supply.
