Spain’s 4 most innovative hotels
31 January, 2024The Spanish Association of Hotel Managers (AEDH) has awarded the prize for the most innovative hotel of 2023, powered by hotelkit. The Umusic Hotel Madrid was the most voted in the category of product innovation, a hotel built from the Albéniz theatre, we could say that it is a hotel with a theatre or even a theatre with a hotel.
What’s more, the highest score in process innovation went to the Ilunion Hotels chain, specifically Ilunion Malaga, which presented its Olivo project, an application that allows real-time monitoring of the energy consumption of the establishment’s facilities.
The area of Innovation in organisation also had some very interesting proposals this year and TUI Blue Los Gigantes de Tenerife obtained the highest score, providing a solution to buffet food waste, combining respect for the environment with social aid.
Completing the list of finalists was the marketing innovation category with Hotel Blaumar (Salou) and its implementation of the digital accommodation twin in Hotelverse, which allows future guests to explore in a personalised way, depending on their tastes and needs. The final winner was TUI Los Gigantes.
