Spanish travel destination recommended by New York Times
31 January, 2024Like every year, the American newspaper The New York Times has published a list of recommended destinations. This usually includes Spanish locations and, in 2024, is focused on Valencia, the city of the European Green Capital.
The last editions of the ‘52 Places to Go’ list, which lists the destinations that the newspaper recommends visiting each year, have included two Spanish places, but this time it has only chosen Valencia, which stands out for its great potential as a sustainable and innovative tourist destination.
In fact, The New York Times refers to the green landscapes and sustainable policies that have led it to achieve this recognition in 2024. This includes the Turia Garden, the old Turia riverbed, which is the longest urban park in Europe, with a surface area of over 120 hectares and 12 kilometres long.
