Sierra Nevada, one of the world’s best ski resorts

Sierra Nevada (Granada) is in seventh place in this ranking of the best ski resorts in the world. A list that is headed by Zermatt (Switzerland), Livigno (Italy) and Flachau (Austria), as they lead the ranking of the best winter resorts for snow sports, according to a study carried out by the car rental website StressFreeCarRental.

According to the authors of this comparative study, the best winter resorts in the world are characterised by having “numerous lifts and slopes, high altitudes, plenty of snow, low prices and were rated positively by skiers”. The twelve ski resorts in this report were derived based on the most searched ski resorts on the internet in each country.

So“the ski resort with the least amount of annual snowfall is Sierra Nevada, in Spain, with only 8 cm, but it is in seventh place in the overall ranking, with an altitude of 3,300 metres and one of the cheapest ski passes, at 57 euros”, comes from the company that has determined which are the best ski resorts in the world.
