Gran Canaria Tourism is promoting the island’s gastronomic offer in order to boost its development and aiming to sustain a model of sustainable tourism projection. And it does so in combination with the island’s oenological offer, which is also gaining in importance.
In Gran Canaria there are consolidated restaurants that showcase their gastronomic concepts alongside the island’s best wines. This was recently the case at the Madrid Fusion Alimentos de España fair held in late January in Madrid.
7 restaurants which promote Gran Canaria wines
- Tabaiba. 1 Michelin Star and 1 Repsol Sun.
- Bevir. Just about to christen its first Michelin Guide Star and 1 Repsol Sun.
- Muxgo. 1 Michelin Green Star and 1 Repsol Sun which launches a new location in the Hotel Santa Catalina.
- Nelson. 1 Repsol Star.
- La Aquarela. 1 Michelin Star and 2 Repsol Suns.
- Qué Leche. Recommended Michelin Star and 1 Repsol Sun.
- Anteo y Borneo. Just reopened its doors in the Gran Canarian capital.
