The Puy de Fou leisure park attracts MICE tourists
10 April, 2024The Puy de Fou leisure park (Toledo) has been receiving requests for some time from companies wishing to hold meetings or events at this facility. So a new venue has been set up this season for the organisation of “historical celebrations”. Located in Villanueva del Corral, its 170 m2 will be able to accommodate up to 150 attendees.
And Puy du Fou Spain has noticed that the public is increasingly demanding more immersive and innovative experiences, which has been boosted in the park with three major innovations. So the new show “Desmayarse”, the prequel to “A pluma y espada”, offers a total immersion in the Golden Age on a vertical stage with Villanueva del Corral, which recreates a village from the 16th and 17th centuries.
Visitors will be able to live more immersive experiences in the historical settlement El Askar Andalusí, specifically in the new restaurant with show El Salón Califal, inaugurated on 4 April. With capacity for 200 diners, it is, according to company sources, “a unique gastronomic venture for fans of Arabic cuisine and for those who want to discover new flavours”.
