Iberia Express opens new Edinburgh-Madrid route
10 April, 2024Spanish airline Iberia Express launched its direct route between Madrid and Edinburgh in late March, offering three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Flights will depart Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport at 08:15 and Edinburgh airport at 10:50.
Tickets for this route are now available on the company’s website. With this addition, Iberia Express is returning this summer to the seasonal destinations with the highest demand in previous seasons. In this context, Edinburgh is an example of how the airline is increasing capacity in the markets it sees as having the greatest opportunities.
So it will operate the Madrid-Edinburgh route from late March until October with three weekly frequencies, which adds up to almost 36,000 seats, 25,000 more than in 2023.
