Meliá Hotels International improves its pet friendly programme
5 June, 2024Meliá Hotels International has just launched its new Pet Friendly by Meliá programme, designed exclusively for four-legged friends. From 15 May, over a hundred of the company’s hotels are ready to give the warmest welcome to the canine members of the family, who will be able to enjoy a stay as exclusive and comfortable as that of their owners.
Although many of the group’s hotels already allowed pets, with the introduction of the Pet Friendly by Meliá programme, the amenities and care provided for them have been optimised, while the selection of hotels in Spain that offer this service has been expanded and the booking process available directly on the website has been made easier.
“We recognise that pets are essential members of the family and, as such, have a direct influence on holiday planning, so it is key to provide a clear response to their needs,” explains Susanna Mander, Marketing Director of Meliá Hotels International. Meliá’s Pet Friendly hotels are prepared to accommodate up to two dogs per room, with no size or weight limit.
