45 Spanish restaurants among the 150 best in Europe
17 July, 2024The Oriental Ritz Hotel in Madrid has been chosen by the Opinionated About Dining (OAD) guide to publish its list of the 150 best restaurants in Europe. This ranking, now in its eleventh year, is compiled from the reviews of thousands of accredited contributors.
The Asador Etxebarri in Axpe is in second place on the list, but it is not the only Spanish restaurant that is at the top of the list of the best restaurants in Europe. In total, 45 establishments from Spain were among the 150 best on the continent, making Spain the country with the most establishments on the list.
The top ten includes Bittor Arginzoniz’s rotisserie as number two, Pedro Sánchez's Bagá in fifth place and Dabiz Muñoz's DiverXO in seventh place. The recently proclaimed best restaurant in the world, Disfrutar, is ranked 11th.
