Top 3 Spanish cities that are most satisfying to tourists
31 July, 2024Among the Spanish destinations preferred by Europeans, there is great interest in medium-sized cities, such as Granada, which obtained the highest score in overall satisfaction, with 87 points out of 100, followed by Bilbao and Palma, which scored 84, according to the results of a survey carried out by the Organisation of Consumers and Users (OCU).
The OCU report on the level of satisfaction with tourist destinations has recorded the experience of 6,854 European travellers with the destinations they have visited in the last two years. Such aspects as general satisfaction, public transport, shopping opportunities, cultural offerings and the feeling of safety were rated.
In the case of Spain, Madrid is recognised as a fashion centre, a shopping benchmark, with 84 points. For their part, Granada and Malaga stand out in hospitality, with scores of 84 and 83, respectively. As regards cultural and monumental offerings, Granada stands out with 88 points.
