SIXT introduces electric scooters for hire in several Spanish cities
21 August, 2024SIXT is expanding its presence in Spain by offering electric scooters in the cities of Valencia, Barcelona and Seville, through a new partnership with mobility service provider Cooltra. In Madrid, the new vehicles will complement the existing offer of carsharing (through Zity) and electric scooters (through Tier).
As highlighted, this initiative will enable customers to enjoy flexible, 100% electric mobility in new European locations. The service allows users to travel conveniently between different points in the respective city.
Specifically, customers can use the electric scooter service for a period ranging from minutes to hours. The electric fleets cover large areas in and around city centres, making it easy for users to pick up and drop off the bikes.
