Hotel Tapa Tour's informal haute cuisine to bid farewell to September
18 September, 2024From 19 to 29 September, Madrid will host the ninth edition of Hotel Tapa Tour, the gastronomy festival that takes place in the capital’s four and five-star hotels and focuses on one of Madrid’s most deeply-rooted gastronomic and cultural traditions: tapas.
This initiative promotes gastronomic tourism in the Spanish capital, “demonstrating the excellence, diversity and quality of its restaurant offer”, according to the City Council. In fact, this modality has become one of the main reasons for visiting the city today.
For ten days, Madrid consolidates an event in which tapas become the ambassador of the haute cuisine of the local hotels and visitors can “discover the magnificent gastronomic spaces they house inside”. Its restaurants, bars, gardens and terraces, open to both guests and the general public, assert their role.
