The best family resort in Spain is in Tenerife
9 October, 2024Every year, many families are looking for the perfect hotel for an unforgettable holiday for all ages. To make this task easier, the World Travel Awards have awarded Spain as having the best family resort and, for the third year in a row, the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora in Tenerife has been the winner.
The 5-star Hotel Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora, located in the village of Alcalá on the south coast of Tenerife, has 7,500 m2 dedicated to swimming pools. Guests can choose between an impressive 5,000 m2 salt-water “infinity pool” (the largest in Europe), a children’s pool with a pirate ship and slides and two adults-only pools.
One of these pools belongs to the RedLevel, the boutique hotel within the resort that has an adults-only area. As well as its aquatic facilities, the resort has a YHI Spa centre, a wellness space covering 2,000 m2.
