9 October, 2024Every year, Hotels.com publishes its eagerly awaited ‘Hotel room trivia’ report, and this year’s 2024 report did not disappoint. With input from over 400 hotel partners, the report reveals a range of stories and services from the unusual to the extravagant. From forgotten items to out-of-the-ordinary room service requests.
Among the most curious items that have been forgotten in the hotels are a Rolex, a Hermès Birkin bag and a watch costing 124 million pesos. Pets are not far behind either: from chicks to lizards have been found and returned to their owners.
Even two leg casts and a large number of dentures have been forgotten, which seems to be part of a strange trend. The report also mentions a list of unexplained objects left behind: a rice cooker, a car tyre and construction pipes, among others.
