11 December, 2024The main ski resorts in Spain open their doors in December for the 2024-2025 season, offering a unique opportunity for lovers of snow tourism. From the Pyrenees to Sierra Nevada, the opening calendar promises to attract both local fans and international tourists.
For the new season, Spanish ski resorts have made a record investment in modernisation and improvement of their infrastructures, with €75 million, surpassing the €74.1 million spent in the previous period. Sierra Nevada leads (€43 million), then Baqueira Beret (€9.6 million) and La Molina (€4.77 million), says the employers’ association Atudem.
First openings of ski resorts
