A show to promote sustainable and responsible tourism
29 January, 2025Fira de Barcelona’s tourism show, B-Travel, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Responsible Tourism Institute (RTI), the entity that awards the Biosphere certification, to carry out actions to promote more sustainable and environmentally responsible tourism within the framework of the show.
The event will hold its 2025 edition from 28 to 30 March at the Montjuïc exhibition centre and will once again present the best national and international tourist destinations. The agreement, by which Biosphere becomes B-Travel’s main sustainability partner, foresees the development of various activities to promote the practice of a more responsible and respectful tourism with the natural environment.
Thus, under the slogan B-Smart Travel, it will hold a Conference on Sustainability, draft a Digital Guide for SMEs on Initiation to Sustainability and draw up the Manifesto of the Responsible Traveller.
