Vueling’s fleet will grow by 5 aircraft this year
5 February, 2025Vueling starts 2025 with plans to add five new aircraft to the fleet and increase the number of seats on offer by a further 1 million - 6% more than last year. On the horizon is the strategy of reinforcing its position in the market and strengthening routes to Barcelona, where three of the new aircraft will be based.
Last year, this airline transported 33 million passengers to and from Spanish airports, 15.25 million of which were within the domestic market. In order to strengthen its operations in Spain, and especially in Barcelona, the airline plans to incorporate the aforementioned five additional aircraft into its fleet.
In addition, the IAG airline will schedule 27.2 million seats throughout the network for this summer season, with special emphasis on reinforcing its network of strategic airports, the domestic market and main international corridors.
