TUI Cruises chooses a Spanish city to christen the Mein Schiff Relax
19 February, 2025TUI Cruises, joint venture between TUI AG and the Royal Caribbean Group, has taken delivery of the 8th ship in its fleet, the Mein Schiff Relax, specialising in wellness. Although it will begin its first trial runs in March, the christening is scheduled to take place on 9 April at the Dique de Levante in the Port of Malaga.
The ship’s godfather will be the British singer Robbie Williams, who will give an open-air concert in the area adjacent to the Cruise Terminals of the port of Malaga. This is the fifth time that the German shipping company TUI and its British “sister” have chosen the capital of the Costa del Sol for a christening.

It should be noted that this newly built cruise ship is 333 m long and 41 m wide, has 2,016 cabins, 14 restaurants and 17 bars. It can hold 3,984 passengers.
