Valencia’s first Autograph Collection hotel opens

Located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the 5-star establishment occupies the historic Telefónica building, designed in 1925 and inspired by the Chicago School. Its name pays tribute to the centenary of the building, whose refurbishment has respected its original essence and heritage value.

The hotel has 53 rooms and is inspired by the 1920s, combining Art Deco style with references to the progress and vitality of that era. Among its areas is the bar-restaurant Soul of 1927, with local cuisine and a setting like the bistros of New York and Chicago. It includes a platform with a grand piano for live performances, plus a rooftop terrace with views and cocktails.

Sustainability has been a central focus of the project, designed to meet BREEAM standards. The hotel is also committed to culture with a programme of activities in collaboration with institutions such as the Valencian Institute of Modern Art and the Hortensia Herrero Art Centre.
