Three new Meliá luxury hotels in Marbella and Fuerteventura
16 July, 2025Meliá Hotels International boosts its positioning in the luxury segment with three new hotels in key destinations. Marbella and Fuerteventura host the latest openings of the ME by Meliá, Paradisus and Zel brands, following repositioning and strategic investment processes.
The ME by Meliá brand debuts in Andalusia with the ME Marbella, following an investment of 20 million euros. The hotel, with 200 rooms and a design by Estudio ASAH, integrates cultural, gastronomic and wellness experiences, highlighting its collaboration with Pont Hospitality and proposals such as the Oasis beach club.

The chain will open this summer the Paradisus Fuerteventura, the island’s first luxury hotel, the result of the transformation of the former Meliá Fuerteventura. Located opposite Sotavento beach, it has 363 rooms and an offer oriented to wellness and family tourism, with gastronomic proposals led by chef Germán Ortega in the Mahos restaurant.
Zel Fuerteventura, the first lifestyle hotel on the island and the fourth of this brand promoted by Meliá, is also scheduled to open. These openings reinforce the group’s presence in key destinations in the Mediterranean and the Canaries, consolidating its strategy in the premium segment.
