Room Mate grows in Valencia with three new boutique hotels
13 August, 2025Room Mate Hotels reinforces its presence in Valencia with the incorporation of three new boutique establishments: Room Mate Helen Berger, Room Mate Oliveira and Room Mate Cosmo. With this operation, the chain has more than 80 new rooms in the city, which has become a strategic enclave for its growth in Spain.
The three establishments began operating under the Room Mate brand on 22 July. Helen Berger is a 4-star hotel; Oliveira is housed in a historic 19th century building, and Cosmo, with 33 rooms, is located between the Town Hall Square and the Central Market. All will retain their original identity but will incorporate the chain’s standards such as premium mattresses, personalised décor and enhanced pet-friendly policies.
With these openings, Room Mate now has 15 hotels operating in Spain, with a total of more than 1,000 rooms. According to its president, Kike Sarasola, the arrival in Valencia is a natural step in a city with great tourist potential and an affinity with the brand’s values.
In addition, the Staying Valencia chain, acquired by Room Mate in 2024, continues to operate six additional properties in the city.
