Cadiz to host a new 5-star GL hotel next to the port
13 August, 2025The future Puerto América hotel, a 5-star Grand Luxury hotel promoted by the Sevillian businessmen Óscar Vega and Rafael Cebolla, will be located in the surroundings of the Cadiz Marina, specifically in the Ciudad del Mar building, in Punta de San Felipe. The project is pending the repeal by the Council of Ministers of the current ban on hotel use in the port area.
The initiative envisages an administrative concession of 50 years, the maximum period permitted by law, and plans to build an establishment with 120 rooms, an auditorium for more than 300 people and a gastronomic offer consisting of several restaurants. It will also focus on the MICE segment, with areas designed for meetings, conventions and incentives.

With an estimated investment of €30 million, the construction will generate more than 200 temporary jobs and 150 direct jobs once operational. The hotel’s design seeks to integrate into the nautical environment with criteria of sustainability and low environmental impact.
Factoría Serendipia, the promoter company, already operates over 40 establishments in Andalusia, aiming to transfer its model of excellence and personalised attention to Cadiz capital.
