A getaway from Madrid to Valencia? No problem with the new AVE
9 March, 2022International tourists who visit Spain often want to discover different places. And, as Madrid is a must-see and a common gateway, it is worth discovering what possibilities exist by travelling from the capital to other destinations that are also very interesting for the visitor. Without a doubt, one of them is Valencia.
Aware of this potential interest, the Spanish railway service, Renfe, has introduced a new connection between the two cities beginning March 1, 2022 using its high-speed train (AVE). It is scheduled to depart from València Joaquín Sorolla at 6:30 a.m., from Monday to Thursday, arriving in Madrid Puerta de Atocha at 8:22 a.m.
The increase in passengers on the High Speed trains that connect Valencia with Madrid has been gradual, as reported by the company. Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday are the days with the highest demand, which reflects the combination of travel for professional reasons and weekend holiday leisure.
