14 Spanish cities are now Train & Fly destinations

30 March, 2022

Iberia and Renfe have taken another step forward with intermodality and are extending their Train & Fly destination network to 14 cities, which was five previously. The two companies have been working for six years on an intermodal product, which is now being improved technologically and extended to more destinations.

In fact, until now, only Zaragoza, Seville, Malaga, Cordoba and Valladolid were included; and today Valencia, Alicante, Leon, Palencia, Pamplona, Salamanca, Albacete, Zamora and Ourense have been incorporated. All these cities are now connected to Iberia's network of 90 international destinations.

Train & Fly is just like connecting journeys. You can combine your journey from the city of origin to terminal T4 at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport using a single ticket, and the connection to any of the more than 90 international destinations offered by the airline, mainly in Europe and America.

These connecting journeys bring great advantages to customers. For example, timetables have been organised to make sure all journeys line up, you only need one ticket which is cheaper than the total sum of the different journeys, and thirdly they guarantee an alternative route in the event of missing one of the connections.
