PortAventura reopens its doors with the largest Easter egg in the world

6 April, 2022

PortAventura World reopens its doors on the 8th of April full of new attractions, including the first Easter Celebration at the theme park in Tarragona (Catalonia), which will feature the installation of the world's largest decorated Easter egg, recognised by Guinness World Records.

The show programme will also be fully back to its best in 2022 with Destination Dance, an acrobatic musical show – with new scenery, choreography and acrobatics – which will take place in the Imperial Grand Theatre of China. The show programme also includes Aloha Tahiti, with its exotic traditional dances from French Polynesia; the enormous Fiestaventura, which takes place every night on the Mediterránea lake and which returns renewed after two seasons without being held due to COVID-19, as well as the lively PortAventura Parade.

Las Aventuras de Tadeo Jones (Adventures of Tadeo Jones) and Rituales Mexicanos (Mexican Rituals), which has been closed since 2019, will also return to La Cantina de México. La Parada, the pre-Fiestaventura show, which was likewise closed for two years, will also be brought back. And Ferrari Land and its impressive attractions will kickstart the 2022 season after an express reopening on 27 March to coincide with the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, with its numerous slides and pools, will open to the public on 4 June.
