“Spain Travel Guide”, the new Turespaña tourist guide on Netflix
13 April, 2022Spain’s cultural, environmental, patrimonial and leisure richness has been collected in the new tourist guide “Spain Travel Guide”, promoted by Turespaña and made jointly with the streaming platform Netflix. It premiered this April and seeks to promote the Spain Brand internationally.
The guide follows a map format, allowing the discovery of how traditions ̶ craftwork, music, gastronomy ̶ , lifestyle and the Spanish society’s capacity to offer unique experiences are shown in many of the series and films produced by Netflix in Spain.
The major asset of “Spain Travel Guide” are the testimonies of Spain’s inhabitants, as their stories invite the viewer to discover the destinations. The different sections show a territory full of contrasts between the cities and rural areas, where culture, architecture, historical sites, fashion, nature, or sports are presented as alternatives to practise a different kind of tourism.
While watching series and films on Netflix, you can discover Spain, its landscapes, its traditions, and people. “An exciting country with endless stories, ancient traditions, a modern, lively, diverse, and creative country. A most gifted country”, is how Reyes Maroto, the Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism put it.
