Iberostar opens a resort dedicated to nature lovers in Mallorca
1 June, 2022The Iberostar Hotels & Resorts chain opened the new Iberostar Cala Domingos at the end of April, making it the chain’s sixteenth hotel in Mallorca, which stands out as a resort perfectly suited to active couples and families seeking to enjoy a holiday that brings them into close contact with nature.
The resort is located in a leafy and nature-filled spot amidst pine trees that slope down to the cove that gives the establishment its name, soaked in the turquoise colours of the Mediterranean.
The hotel complex is surrounded by indigenous vegetation and features two pools and more than 350 rooms. Its design is inspired in the light woods that form the modern residential style typical of the Mediterranean. The resort is mostly comprised of bungalows that offer an unbeatable connection with nature.
The hotel brand -which was founded in Mallorca 60 years ago- considers this addition to its portfolio to be a sign of progress in terms of responsible tourism. The opening of Iberostar Cala Domingos “clearly highlights our commitment to the type of tourism we want to see more of, and strengthens our offer on the island of Mallorca, a key destination for our brand”, explained Javier Muñoz, Operations Director for the brand.
