The 29 hotels that form Ilunion are ‘pet friendly’ from July onwards
20 July, 2022The 29 establishments that form the Ilunion Hotels chain and are comprised of both holiday and urban locations, are officially pet friendly from 1st July. This initiative is part of one propelled by Grupo Social ONCE for the promotion of accessible, inclusive and sustainable tourism.
It’s important to mention that the hotel chain has vast experience in accommodating guide dogs in its rooms, which means it holds an excellent degree of awareness on looking after the well-being of all of its guests, in addition to the importance of the cleaning and maintenance of its spaces.
Managing director of Ilunion Hotels, José Ángel Preciados, commented that, as a result of the pandemic, “the number of families with pets has increased, creating a higher demand for travel options that are pet friendly. After seeing this request made again and again at our hotels, we decided to reflect on our model and open up a channel to offer the opportunity to accommodate clients who wish to travel with their pets”.
According to recent studies, 45% of people with pets travel three to six times per year, with holiday apartment rentals often proving the most accessible option, given that they often come up against obstacles when trying to find hotels that accommodate pets.
