HM inaugurates its first 100% sustainable hotel in Palma
3 August, 2022HM Palma Blanc, the Mallorcan HM Hotels chain’s most sustainable establishment, opened its doors at the beginning of June, just in time for the high season on the island. It features 118 rooms and opens as one of the leading examples of the brand's new environmental responsibility project.
The hotel is comprised of a building designed with eye-catching avant-garde architecture that features a white aluminium façade and the use of traditional building materials from the island of Mallorca. As part of its identity revolving around environmental friendliness, the HM Palma Blanc incorporates a series of innovations that enhance its sustainability.
These measures include energy efficiency and waste management systems, the reuse of grey waters from showers and sinks for the use of cisterns, the use of solar panels to create an energy supply, a 100% renewable electricity supply and reduced carbon footprint.
