Seville becomes a premium luxury tourism destination
7 September, 2022Seville City Council has achieved recognition of the city being a premium destination by the world's most important network of luxury travel agents and advisors, Virtuoso. This "marks a milestone in its strategy aimed at higher quality tourism", according to sources from the City Council.
This choice, as the Mayor of Seville, Antonio Muñoz, pointed out, "is an endorsement of the municipal strategy, an opportunity for further development of the city's premium services, from hotels to craftwork, and strengthens our position in the US market. We are on the right track towards a more sustainable, intelligent and higher quality destination".
Virtuoso's clientele is characterised by having a high spending level, not being seasonal, looking for personalisation of their trips and unique and genuine experiences with added value, as well as demanding safe destinations and the excellence and professionalism of the services they receive, according to what the City Council has pointed out.
