Hyatt opens its first European Thompson hotel in Madrid
5 October, 2022The first hotel in Europe of the Thompson Hotels brand, part of the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, arrives in the Spanish capital. Thompson Madrid has 175 bedrooms, including 22 Suites and an exclusive Penthouse and offers a high-level culinary proposal by Familia La Ancha. It also has a roof terrace and a swimming pool.
The new hotel is located in the centre of Madrid's new Milla de Oro, in Plaza del Carmen and behind Calle Montera, just a few steps from the famous Puerta del Sol and the eclectic Gran Vía. It is inspired by its namesake located in New York's SoHo, which revolutionised the area at the time and made it the benchmark it is today.
With the motto “With culture for Montera”, Thompson Madrid will be the cultural meeting point, the home where heritage is linked to progress and revolution. A must for lovers of design, local culture, fashion, music and gastronomy, where they can enjoy the quality of life in Madrid and Spain.
