Hyatt arrives on the Costa del Sol with a luxury hotel
12 October, 2022The Hyatt Hotels Corporation chain has opened La Zambra, the former Byblos Hotel in Malaga, which joins The Unbound Collection brand by Hyatt. The luxury establishment is located in the Sierra de Mijas, 3 kilometres from the coast and 20 minutes from Malaga airport.
This opening marks the arrival of the Hyatt brand on the Costa del Sol. The hotel has 197 bedrooms and suites, four dining options, a 2,500-square-metre spa and four meeting spaces for up to 350 people. The renovation was carried out by the Estevia I Estevia architecture studio.
Facilities include a gym, two tennis courts, a paddle tennis court and two outdoor swimming pools. Furthermore, golf fans have access to two world-class courses located next to La Zambra and designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones.
