Thus Spanish hotels will attract digital nomads

9 November, 2022

Remote working has become part of the new normal so that the possibility of combining work and vacations in the so called “workation” has stopped being exclusive to freelancers, who, until the pandemic, were the only ones who could live like digital nomads.

For this, the Technological Hotel Institute (ITH) has warned that “the hotel sector must be prepared as this new way of travelling is quickly extending” in the words of the general director of this sectoral body Álvaro Carrillo.

So hotels “can position themselves favourably to make the most of this growing market by marketing installations and services which create an environment which favours productivity”. In this way they can “increase entry opportunities and acquire more reservations” added the director of markets of Cloudbeds, Ana Cochofel.
