Where can you enjoy the best immersive experience in Spain?
30 November, 2022The Tourism Innovation Summit (TIS) has once again recognised the initiatives and projects committed to innovation, digitisation and sustainability in the tourism sector. The 2022 Tourism Innovation Awards have awarded six projects from different companies and institutions for this purpose.
Among them, Barcelona's Casa Batlló has received the CaixaBank Award for Best user experience for offering visitors a unique immersive experience, both during the visit, before and after, thanks to artificial intelligence, augmented reality and machine learning.
Casa Batlló is a building located in the central Paseo de Gracia, the work of the architect Antoni Gaudí, the greatest representative of Catalan modernism. It is a comprehensive remodelling of a previously existing building on the site. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an icon of the city of Barcelona.
