The best ski resorts for experts in Spain
25 January, 2023The ski season has already started throughout Europe and in Spain the resorts are offering their best so that snow tourists can fully enjoy doing the winter sports they enjoy the most. However, just like in other sports, there are different experiences and the best thing is to enjoy the most suitable infrastructures for each skier.
In Spain, the best option for expert skiers is to go to one of these resorts:
- Baqueira Beret (Lleida). With 113 slopes including 48 red and17 black.
- Cerler (Huesca). With 72 slopes including 27 red and16 black.
- Candanchú (Huesca). It has 16 red slopes and 13 blacks. The highest point for skiing is Tuca Blanca, at an altitude of 2,400 metres.
- La Masella (Girona). It has 22 red slopes and 10 blacks. The most difficult ones start from 2,536 metres high, in Tosa d'Alp.
- Formigal Panticosa (Huesca). With 52 red slopes and 42 blacks and, above all, with the Pista del Infierno, which you go down at high speed through very pronounced curves.
