Hyatt and Hesperia will open the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club this year

1 February, 2023

A Hyatt subsidiary has signed a franchise agreement with La Manga Club, S.L. (owned by Grupo Inversor Hesperia) to open Grand Hyatt La Manga Club and Resort. After a thorough refurbishment, the iconic 192-room complex will become the first Grand Hyatt brand establishment in Spain in mid-2023.

Located in an idyllic enclave of the Mediterranean coast, the complex will be located in the heart of the emblematic resort La Manga Club in the Region of Murcia, recognised as one of the most popular destinations in southern Europe. As part of extensive renovation which will end next spring, the rooms and suites will be redesigned to reflect the brilliant design and bold architecture for which the Grand Hyatt brand is known.

It will also incorporate a renewed culinary offering, such as a new sushi bar and a high-end gastro restaurant, aimed at highlighting local products through international cuisines. “It will offer modern travellers enriching luxury and lifestyle experiences and mark an important milestone in the impressive growth of our luxury brand in Europe”, said Felicity Black-Roberts, vice president of development for Europe at Hyatt.
