17 campsites in Catalonia among the best in Europe
8 February, 2023In under a week, seventeen Catalan campsites have been awarded as the best campsites in Europe by the two main organisations in the sector which have awarded them the highest five-star rating: the ANWB, the leading automotive association in the Netherlands and the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC) in Germany, which is the largest automotive association in Europe.
In the ceremonies held recently in Utrecht (Netherlands) and Stuttgart (Germany), eight of these establishments were distinguished by both associations. In this way, the Catalan campsites remain one more year in the most prominent places in the recommendations of the specialised associations. Throughout Spain, twenty-two campsites have won these awards.
On the other hand, a Catalan campsite, the Camping & Resort Sangulí Salou, in Tarragona, has been recognized as the best campsite in Europe by the ANWB in the category of “Most pleasant family campsite near the sea.”
