7 of the best airports in the world are Spanish
22 February, 2023The organisation AirHelp has ranked the 150 best airports in the world, seven of which are Spanish airports from the Aena network. Some of these are among those which receive the most tourists each year and which are characterised by top-quality facilities and infrastructures and which stand out for features such as punctuality or the food and shopping range.
The first Spanish airport which appears on the list is Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez International airport which occupies 12th place. And the airport of Bilbao in the Basque country is in 24th place. A long way down is Barcelona-El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport which is ranked in 53rd place.
And a little later, the airport of Valencia in 57th place. Also in Valencia, the list ranks the airport of Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández in 66th position. The Balearic airports begin to appear in 94th position for Ibiza, followed by Palma de Mallorca already in 116th position in the AirHelp list.
