Santa Eulària, the sustainable slow life side of Ibiza
1 March, 2023The Ibizan municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu presents some novelties in 2023 in terms of gastronomy, as well as the family, leisure, cultural and sports tourism segment, aimed at various visitor profiles whereby the renewal of different products also stands out.
Santa Eulària des Riu commits to a sustainable and accessible tourism model. As part of its commitment to accessibility and sustainability, this year it will once again have its most important certifications renewed: ISO 170001 accessibility on the beaches of Santa Eulària and Cala Llonga and ISO 14001 environmental care on the beaches of Santa Eulària, Es Riu, Cala Llonga, Es Canar and Es Figueral.
Likewise, Santa Eulària des Riu has renewed the Blue Flag badge on the beaches of Santa Eulària, es Riu, Cala Llonga, Es Canar, Cala Llenya and Es Figueral. It should be noted that the beach of Santa Eulària des Riu was recognised by ONCE and by Blue Flags with a special recognition: “Universal Accessibility – Inclusive Beaches: sun and beach for all”, meaning this beach is suitable for everyone in the broadest sense of the expression.
