Jet2.com extends 5.6% of its flights to the Balearics this summer

The airline Jet2.com has announced it will offer over 1.1 million seats to the Balearics this summer which implies a growth of over 62,000 than 2022, a 5.6% increase. So it will offer direct flights to Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza from its 10 bases in the UK: Leeds, Manchester, London-Stansted, Newcastle, Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Belfast, Glasgow and Edinburgh with a peak of 213 flights a week.

As regards the islands, Mallorca will be the airline’s most important airport in Spain this summer, with over 650,000 seats, a growth of over 47,000 compared to last summer, concentrated above all outside the months of July and August, with a peak of 146 weekly flights. Jet2.com will fly to Mallorca all year round while Jet2holidays will work with over 340 hotels and 160 villas on the island.

As for Ibiza, it will exceed 320,000 seats in arrivals, up more than 10,000 compared to the summer of 2022 and a season from early April to late October. Some 140 hotels and over 15 villas will work directly with Jet2 holidays and the peak of weekly flights will reach 73. In turn, Menorca will exceed 180,000 arrivals, some 5,000 more than in 2022.
