Mallorca hosts a summit of sustainable tourist destinations
22 March, 2023After the success of the first edition, the Fundació Mallorca Turisme of the Consell de Mallorca and the World Tourism Organization (WTO) host the second edition of the Sustainable Destinations Summit which will take place on 30th and 31st March in Palma.
Under the slogan “Leading the Transformation”, the leaders of the tourism transformation will share knowledge and reflect on environmentally friendly practices and on the contribution to a successful transformation of the tourism sector.
The forum will feature round tables, talks and interviews with important individuals from different fields related to tourism and sustainability, including Jesús Alquézar Sabadie, socioeconomic analyst of the General Directorate for the Environment of the European Commission, Massimo Marchiori, promoter of HyperSearch or Alexa Firmenich, consultant and facilitator focused on the climate and biodiversity crisis.
