Revolution in the gastro offering at Madrid Airport
29 March, 2023Aena has renewed the catering offer at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, which will have 55 premises distributed in terminals T123, T4 and T4S and an approximate area of 19,000 m2. In this way, the Airport will have a wide and varied restaurant offer, with a high level of quality and which is a faithful reflection of excellent Spanish and international gastronomy. The catering operators are Áreas, which will have 35 stores; Pansfood, with 10; Cafestore, with six; and SSP and McDonald's, with two each.
With this renovation, Aena provides passengers and airport users with a true gastronomic experience, combining the latest trends in national and international catering. For this, the brands and the concepts of restoration are varied, adapting to the needs of new passengers and satisfying at the same time the tastes of different segments of travellers. About 90% of them are new brands.
Offers range from healthy food to food markets, including grab&go, cafeterias, coffee shops, restaurants, breweries, wine and tapas, jamonerías, casual dining and hamburger bars. Among the new brands that will be present at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport there are places for breweries, wines and tapas, as well as concepts, pastry shops, ice cream parlours and casual dining, among others.
