The Camino del Santo Grial, a commitment to sustainable tourism
5 April, 2023The Camino del Santo Grial promotes active and nature tourism in 18 municipalities of the Valencian Community along its route. It currently aspires to become a European Cultural Route. “The Camino del Santo Grial has great potential, it could perfectly be compared to the Camino de Santiago”, stated the El Camino del Santo Grial Cultural Association.
This organisation aims to consolidate a route which is so powerful that it attracts thousands of travellers every year who want to know the Holy Grail. The Camino del Grial crosses more than 100 kilometres and includes two greenways. It is an important tourist product which promotes sustainable, active and nature tourism.
The Camino del Grial follows the course of the Palancia River and offers travellers extraordinary landscapes, ancestral traditions and extraordinary villages that are worth visiting. The route can be done on foot, by bicycle or on horseback and travellers can complete the so-called 'pilgrim's credential', a passport which is stamped at each stop.
