Zaragoza prepares an open air gastro festival for June

3 May, 2023

Zaragoza will put the finishing touch to its Ibero-American Capital of Sustainable Gastronomy with the celebration of a great festival that will be held, from 23 June to 16 July in the Parque Grande - Jose Antonio Labordeta. It will be an important, attractive and general interest event in which a wide-ranging Ibero-American offer will coexist, covering its culture through gastronomy, crafts, literature, music and the performing arts.

The constant guiding thread of all the activity will be sustainability, as reported. In the park, 35 artisan booths, 8 gastronomic points, 8 terraces and a stage will be installed where different cultural activities will be planned. Plurality will be the aim of the gastro field, thus counting on a varied Ibero-American proposal, with room for Peruvian, Mexican, Argentinian and Colombian inspiration.

Likewise, preparations of the Ibero-American Recipe Book with sustainable local agricultural products will be offered, on the occasion of Zaragoza's capital status, and there will also be a cocktail area. The event will also be completed with a musical programme with mariachis, tango, samba and Andean music, as well as current Caribbean rhythms, such as bachata or reggae-ton.
