Gran Canaria wins award for its training for British travel agents
24 May, 2023The island of Gran Canaria has once again been recognised with the award for the best destination course at the prestigious Online Travel Training - OTT POP AWARDS. The training activity offered by Turismo de Gran Canaria to British travel agents reached the highest number of professionals who completed it in 2022.
In addition, it was positioned as the destination with the highest brand retention ratio, which once again positions Gran Canaria as a winner among all the courses dedicated to destinations and among the top three courses in all categories offered by the OTT- Online Travel Training platform, leader in the UK, with over 350 courses and 150,000 users in the sector.
This year the celebration of the awards ceremony has returned to its usual format -after the restrictions suffered in recent years due to the pandemic- and with more force than ever, through a live event at the Cavendish Conference Centre, maintaining its highly digital nature, with large-screen projections and special effects.
