Hilton opens a hotel in a historic building in Madrid
31 May, 2023The new Hotel Montera Madrid opened in early May, the first Curio Collection by Hilton in the Spanish capital, a brand that offers unique accommodation in unique locations. It has therefore selected a building which is over a century old on the popular Montera street to establish a hotel that reflects the cosmopolitan, sociable and open air of Madrid.
The Hotel Montera Madrid has 93 rooms, eight of them exclusive suites, distributed over 10 floors, and has a select restaurant, three terraces and a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool, Balinese beds and a cocktail service, from which one can enjoy the views of the city. It also has areas which can be used for private events.
David Kelly, Hilton Worldwide's senior vice president for continental Europe, has welcomed it “to our expanding European portfolio”, emphasising the “authentic experience in the centre of Spain's vibrant capital city that it offers its guests”, and noting that “Hotel Montera Madrid will be very popular with both locals and international visitors”.
