Gran Canaria promotes itself as a golf destination in UK
31 May, 2023Gran Canaria Tourism, together with the official brand of the island's promotional body, Gran Canaria Golf, has presented the wide range of golfing activities on offer in the cities of Edinburgh and Newcastle as part of the Travel Bulletin Luxury Showcases.
Gran Canaria showed in great detail both the accommodation on offer and the island's golf courses. Both events were very well attended, with a total of 140 travel consultants between the two locations, from agency networks, independent agencies and Travel Counsellors.
Two lucky agents won fantastic prizes for holidays in Gran Canaria in partnership with one of the Golf Association's hotels, Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity. They were Paulina Luzha from Not Just Travel and Sally Baker from Travel Counsellors. Their trips will be completed with tee times on Gran Canaria golf courses and an excursion to get to know the island well.
