8 new airline routes between Liverpool and Spain operated by Jet2.com

7 June, 2023

In May, the airline Jet2.com announced the inauguration of a new base, for 28 March 2024, at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport. And from there it will connect to a total of eight destinations in Spain: Alicante, Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. They will be the first to have direct flights to the city, which will connect to a total of 20 locations.

The total number of inbound seats on offer between Liverpool and these 8 destinations will be almost 148,000. Almost 70,000 of these seats will be to the Canary Islands, making Jet2.com the leading operator between Liverpool and the Canary Islands, followed by the Balearic Islands with over 56,000 and Alicante with over 22,000.

Weekly frequencies will range from 7 flights a week to Mallorca and 2 to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Menorca. It is important to note that for the latter two islands, Jet2.com will be the only airline operating direct flights to Liverpool.
