Mallorca deepens its commitment to inclusive tourism
5 July, 2023The conference 'Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism' was held in June in Mallorca with the aim of highlighting the benefits of sustainable tourism in society. And throughout the meeting, topics related to universal accessibility, DTI and Sustainable Development Goals 2030 have been explored.
The Spanish platform for people with physical and organic disabilities (PREDIF), took the opportunity to highlight the value of smart data management in the field of accessible tourism, i.e. the collection of data on the needs of tourists requiring accessibility by tourism companies and managing bodies for a real and contrasted image of these travellers.
The conference consisted of three presentations that highlighted the importance of sustainable tourism in society and its relationship with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for the year 2030, and was attended by authorities, experts and representatives of the island's hospitality sector.
