Iberostar opens a new resort in northern Mallorca
19 July, 2023The Iberostar Hotels & Resorts chain has opened the doors of the new Iberostar Selection Albufera resort, a sustainable family resort that also brings to Spain the all-inclusive model that the chain has been offering in the Caribbean for over three decades.
The resort is located in the north of Mallorca, opposite Playa de Muro, and is the result of the complete transformation of two of the company's iconic hotels in the Bay of Alcudia: the Iberostar Selection Albufera Park and the Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa. Following the refurbishment, it has been converted into a sustainable resort.
The refurbishment work, which began in 2022, includes all of its facilities, including the resort's 600 rooms. The resort has 10 bars and restaurants and the new family concept introduces a renewed, healthy and sustainable dining experience, with quality products from local suppliers and responsibly sourced fish and seafood.
The resort also has seven swimming pools, new children's areas such as Star Camp and a splash pool.
